Excellus BCBS is seeking an Affordability Portfolio Manager to oversee governance, administration, and portfolio management that enable successful execution of the health plan's affordability strategy.

The role coordinates across cross-functional teams, tracks milestones, and communicates findings to leadership, driving accountability and ensuring initiatives are prioritized and measured effectively.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of experience in project coordination, program administration, healthcare operations, governance support, portfolio coordination, or a related field required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Project Management, Finance, or related field; six years of experience in lieu of degree.
• PMP or other project management certification preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare operations, health insurance, project management, governance processes, or portfolio administration.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in matrixed organizations and collaborate with diverse stakeholder groups.
• Experience developing meeting materials, tracking deliverables, and supporting cross-functional teams.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsabilités

• Establish and lead affordability governance meetings and tracking processes.
• Develop agendas, materials, minutes, and decision trackers.
• Maintain affordability initiative inventory and portfolio documentation.
• Assist with executive presentations, dashboards, and reporting materials.
• Support intake and prioritization processes through documentation and coordination.
• Lead cross-functional affordability initiatives across business areas.
• Present portfolio recommendations and risks to leadership forums.
• Develop executive-level scorecards and governance materials.
• Ensure affordability reporting supports decision-making.
• Mentor less experienced portfolio resources.
