Job summary

Excellus BCBS is seeking an Affordability Portfolio Manager to oversee governance, administration, and portfolio management that advances the health plan's affordability strategy. This role coordinates opportunities from ideation to execution and monitoring, ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams and strong accountability to leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of experience in project coordination, program administration, healthcare operations, governance support, portfolio coordination, or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree required; in lieu of degree, 6 additional years of related experience.
• PMO or project management certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead affordability governance meetings, workgroups, steering committees, and operational forums; track milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and action items.
• Develop agendas, meeting materials, minutes, action logs, decisions trackers, and summaries; coordinate calendars.
• Maintain affordability initiative inventory, intake logs, status trackers, and portfolio documentation.
• Maintain affordability SharePoint sites, repositories, and centralized documentation.
• Assist with executive presentations, dashboards, scorecards, and reporting materials.
• Support intake and prioritization processes through documentation and administrative coordination.
• Work with initiative owners to collect status updates and maintain portfolio information.
• Support annual planning, roadmap development, and affordability reporting activities.
