Job summary

Fieldguide is a remote-first startup in San Francisco that builds software for assurance and advisory teams. We seek a Customer Success Engineer – Advisory to own adoption, value realization, and workflow excellence for Fieldguide customers delivering advisory services.

You will work inside the Fieldguide platform alongside advisory teams to deliver engagements more efficiently, consistently, and at higher quality across advisory services. Success is measured by outcomes, not volume.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years in advisory, consulting, or professional services.
• Experience delivering advisory or transformation work.
• Understanding of advisory engagement delivery, including scoping, execution, and reporting.
• Hands-on experience configuring workflows in software platforms.
• Strong communication with practitioners, managers, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own adoption and success for a portfolio of Fieldguide advisory customers, with accountability for usage, outcomes, and long-term retention.
• Drive deep platform adoption across advisory teams by configuring workflows, templates, and engagement structures.
• Translate advisory methodologies and offerings into scalable Fieldguide workflows.
• Partner with advisory teams to improve engagement execution and delivery.
• Lead customer enablement, training, and change management to move away from bespoke delivery models.
• Identify usage gaps and risks, and proactively recommend improvements.
• Serve as a practitioner-advisor and advise on stronger, scalable practices.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Implementation to provide advisory feedback.
• Support renewals and expansion by ensuring customers realize value.
• Contribute to playbooks, templates, and best-practice frameworks.
• Own and exceed KPIs related to adoption, retention, and platform usage.
