Job summary

Target is seeking a Lead Engineer for Red Team to design and execute adversary emulation operations, mentor junior operators, and drive risk-based improvements across security controls. The role requires strong offensive security experience and collaboration with incident response, detection, and threat intelligence teams.

You will develop objectives, plan engagements, and present findings to stakeholders while continuously improving tools and procedures in a dynamic security program.

Qualifications

• Four years minimum experience in offensive security and/or defensive security.
• Strong offensive security knowledge and understanding of red team impact on an organization.

Responsibilities

• Consult on, design, and execute adversary emulation operations.
• Conduct research into threat actor tactics and develop PoC tools and playbooks.
• Bypass security controls to accomplish goals.
• Collaborate with defense teams to identify improvement opportunities.
• Lead and train operators and communicate findings clearly.
• Read and write code to accomplish red team goals.
