Job summary

MGID, a leading native advertising platform, seeks a qualified lawyer with strong commercial judgment to advise on AdTech, privacy, data protection and regulatory compliance in a US context. You will lead negotiations and support product, commercial and operations teams from a strategic legal perspective.

The role involves drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, reviewing data flows and tracking technologies, and coordinating with global legal counsel.

Qualifications

• Law degree and authorization to provide legal advice in relevant jurisdiction.
• 3+ years of relevant legal experience in commercial contracts, technology, digital advertising, privacy or related fields.
• Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements (MSAs, insertion orders, publisher/advertiser, vendor/SaaS terms).
• Strong understanding of privacy principles as applied to online advertising and tracking technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal advice to product, commercial, publisher, marketing and operations teams on launches and monetization of advertising products.
• Draft, review and negotiate agreements with advertisers, agencies, publishers and technology partners; maintain templates and guidance.
• Monitor privacy, data protection, and regulatory developments and translate them into practical business guidance.
• Coordinate with global Legal and external counsel; contribute to templates, playbooks and processes for faster, consistent legal support.
