Job summary

MGID is seeking a lawyer with strong commercial judgment to serve as a strategic legal partner, advising on AdTech, commercial contracts, privacy, data protection, product and regulatory compliance, while leading US legal matters.

You will support product and business teams, draft and negotiate critical contracts, and supervise privacy and regulatory work. A fast-paced, international environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Law degree and authorization to provide legal advice in the United States.
• 3+ years of relevant legal experience in technology, digital advertising or related fields.
• Experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements such as MSAs, insertion orders, publisher/advertiser/Vendor contracts or data processing terms.
• Working knowledge of privacy and data protection principles as they apply to online advertising and data use.
• Ability to explain legal issues clearly to non-lawyers and to handle fast-paced international environments.

Responsibilities

• Advise Product, Commercial, Publisher, Marketing and Operations teams on launching and commercializing advertising products and features.
• Draft, review and negotiate agreements with advertisers, agencies, publishers, vendors and technology providers; maintain templates and guidance.
• Identify key risks relating to liability, privacy, data use, IP, confidentiality and compliance, and propose practical positions.
• Support privacy/regulatory compliance and monitor developments; coordinate with global Legal team and external counsel as needed.
