Job summary

Mobility Global is seeking a commercial counsel to draft, review, and negotiate complex agreements including data subscriptions, licensing, SaaS, and MSAs. You will advise on data privacy, DPAs, and marketing compliance while supporting cross-functional initiatives and ongoing process improvements.

The role involves partnering with Legal and Compliance to balance risk with business objectives and to lead strategic projects for the Legal team.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years’ experience as commercial counsel with broad contracts experience.
• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active U.S. jurisdiction bar admission in good standing.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements.
• Experience advising on data privacy and data protection matters.
• Familiarity with advertising, consumer protection, and marketing laws (UDAP, CAN-SPAM).

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of complex commercial agreements including data subscription and licensing agreements, SaaS agreements, MSAs, and SOWs.
• Review privacy provisions, DPAs, and data handling frameworks.
• Provide legal guidance on advertising and consumer protection compliance, including FTC-related practices.
• Support cross-functional initiatives with practical, risk-balanced guidance and scalable processes.
• Collaborate with Legal and Compliance to align on risk and regulatory requirements.
• Lead special projects to advance department priorities.
