DePaul Community Resources seeks a Full-Time Adoption Specialist (RPACS) in Lynchburg, VA to provide post-finalization support to adoptive families. You will assist with referrals, education, crisis management, and advocacy to strengthen placements and prevent disruption.

Responsibilities include intake, developing service plans, coordinating parent/youth groups, and maintaining case records. Flexible work-from-home options may be available; must collaborate across programs and with partners.

Competenze

• A Bachelor's degree in social work or a related human services field with one year of experience is required.
• Experience as a foster/adoptive parent may substitute for formal casework experience.

Mansioni

• Perform intake and assess strengths and needs post-adoption to create detailed service plans.
• Provide information, referral, education, crisis management and advocacy for families.
• Plan and facilitate adoptive family and child support groups and activities.
• Prepare and maintain case records per program and grant standards.
• Collaborate with supervisors, team members and community partners to optimize services.
• Deliver adoption competence education to the community as needed.
