Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year in admissions, intake, customer service, healthcare, or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of substance use disorders and recovery principles helpful.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for prospective clients, families, referral sources, and partners.
• Respond to inquiries within established response times.
• Provide information on treatment services, admissions criteria, and financial responsibilities.
• Conduct initial applicant screenings and determine eligibility and next steps.
• Guide applicants and families through admissions forms and documentation.
• Coordinate admission activities, including scheduling assessments and transportation when needed.
• Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and payment arrangements.
• Maintain accurate documentation within electronic health records and admissions systems.
• Monitor admissions pipelines and waitlists to support timely access to care.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and organizational policies.
