Job summary

Adams and Associates partners with Job Corps to recruit and onboard students at the Devens, MA campus. The role focuses on admissions coordination, screening, and building partnerships to support student success.

You will work with Center staff to ensure a seamless enrollment process, deliver career counseling during admissions, and maintain strict confidentiality of student data while helping the center meet performance goals.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, communications or closely related field and two years related experience required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with admissions and/or youth development programs highly preferred.
• Must possess a valid in-State Drivers License and meet Company insurability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment and arrival of Job Corps students and develop center-beneficial partnerships to support student success.
• Determine student qualifications, eligibility and suitability for enrollment; maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and integrity of student data.
• Meet or exceed DOL/Company performance goals and conduct comprehensive screening procedures to determine applicants' eligibility.
• Deny enrollment when applicable and refer to other educational resources; conduct career counseling during admissions.
• Serve as liaison to Center staff to facilitate enrollment and early student retention; work with community agencies and schools to inform prospective applicants.
• Conduct Center tours, pre-arrival visits, and parent/guardian meetings; coordinate with departments to ensure effective supervision and services.
• As directed, perform tasks for other departments; participate in temporary reassignment as needed.
