Job summary

The Admissions Advisor role at CIEE Council on International Educational Exchange is a remote, student-facing position based in Columbia, South Carolina. You will serve as the first point of contact for students applying to CIEE’s university study and intern abroad programs, advising on options and guiding the application process.

You will collaborate with Managers of Institutional Relations and Student Ambassadors, manage high volumes of inquiries, organize information sessions, and help

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent.
• Experience in student advising, customer service, higher education, or a sales-oriented field.
• Study abroad experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advise students on appropriate CIEE programs based on interests and eligibility.
• Provide hands-on guidance to students as they begin, complete, and submit applications; offer individualized support.
• Manage a high volume of emails and calls and respond within one working day.
• Schedule follow-ups to inform students about programs at all inquiry stages.
• Organise information sessions, webinars, and campus events to raise program awareness.
