Job summary

Arizona Department of Economic Security (DES) is seeking an Adjudicator for the Unemployment Insurance Administration (UIA) to review applications and determine eligibility for public assistance programs.

Responsibilities include conducting interactive interviews, processing applications, and advising clients on program rules. Remote work within Arizona may be available; the position requires attention to detail and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and one year of experience performing eligibility reviews or one year of customer service experience.
• Experience reviewing applications for eligibility and determining program eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform interactive interviews to elicit eligibility information and determine program eligibility.
• Initiate and process applications through automated systems and determine benefit levels.
• Interact with clients and provide information on eligibility requirements and procedures.
