Job summary

Mainspring Recovery in the United States is seeking a Remote Therapist to join our Clinical team. The Therapist Supervisee will support adults with substance use disorders, providing intake assessments, individual and group counseling, and treatment planning across levels of care in a PRN, hourly role.

This position offers supervision, flexible evening shifts, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to promote recovery and continuity of care in a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree preferred in addictions counseling, social work, mental health counseling, or related field.
• Experience in human services, substance use disorder treatment, or related setting preferred.
• Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems for clinical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Complete intake assessments following pre-assessment.
• Develop individualized service and treatment plans.
• Present clients in treatment team meetings.
• Conduct individual counseling sessions.
• Facilitate didactic lectures, client groups, and other therapeutic activities.
• Maintain contact with relevant individuals involved in client care.
• Collaborate with Case Management and interdisciplinary team.
• Meet documentation requirements for accreditation, licensing, and billing.
