Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking an Actuary, Pricing to shape pricing strategies for Medicare Advantage products. You will set pricing assumptions, prepare bids, and support rate filings while advising on cost impacts of new products.

Collaboration across functions and strong analytical judgment are essential. Reporting to the Director, Actuarial Pricing, you will monitor market trends, assist in regulatory filings, and provide insights to executives for profitable growth and effective pricing actions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• FSA or ASA with relevant advanced degree or other professional designations.
• MAAA designation is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to articulate ideas effectively in writing and speech.
• Experience in modeling, pricing, rate filing, reporting/analysis, reserving or trending in at least two functions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute pricing strategies for Medicare Advantage products.
• Establish pricing assumptions, prepare and submit bids, support regulatory rate filings and certifications.
• Advise Product Development on cost impact of new products and benefits; develop pricing tools for standard and customized offerings.
• Monitor competitive landscape and collaborate with market partners on pricing actions.
• Ensure actuarial certifications related to rate filings and compliance with rating and benefit regulations.
