Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking an Actuary, Pricing to develop pricing strategies for Medicare Advantage products and support rate filings, bids, and regulatory certifications. You will establish pricing assumptions and help implement rates and product changes.

Reporting to the Director, Actuarial Pricing, you will analyze market metrics, collaborate cross-functionally, and provide insights to executives. This is a remote role with a 40-hour work week and EST schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• FSA or ASA plus relevant advanced degree, recent and relevant work experience, and/or other relevant professional designations
• MAAA
• Demonstrated ability to articulate ideas effectively in both written and oral forms
• Experience in more than two functions (e.g., modeling, pricing, rate filing, reporting & analysis, reserving or trending)

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute pricing strategies for Medicare Advantage products.
• Establish pricing assumptions and submit bids.
• Support regulatory rate filings and certifications.
• Advise on cost impact of new products and benefits.
• Monitor competitive landscape and provide actionable insights.
