Job summary

Jonus Group is seeking an Actuarial Analyst II – Reserving for a 100% remote role based in the United States. The position focuses on quarterly and annual loss reserve analyses that support financial reporting, profitability management, and business decisions.

You will work closely with Finance, Accounting, Claims and senior actuaries to improve reserving workflows, review data and calculations, and deliver accurate analyses while expanding your reserving expertise.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of P&C actuarial experience required
• Reserving experience preferred
• Proficiency with Excel and analytical tools like SQL, Python, R, or VBA
• Strong attention to detail and clear communication of technical concepts

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly and annual loss reserve analyses
• Support financial statement and regulatory reporting
• Partner with Finance and Accounting during quarterly close cycles
• Review data, assumptions, and calculations for accuracy
• Identify process improvements and enhance reserving workflows
• Respond to auditor and cross-functional requests
• Manage reserving-related projects and deliverables
