Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a seasoned actuary to join our Government Programs practice, delivering Medicare Advantage, Part D and related risk adjustment analyses for payer clients. You will develop rates, forecasts and financial models and mentor junior analysts in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

This remote US role requires strong actuarial credentials, exam progress, and leadership experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
4+ actuarial examinations completed and active on exam track.
3+ years of actuarial experience.
Experience building and interpreting actuarial models and financial analyses.

Responsibilities

Lead actuarial analyses for Medicare Advantage, Part D, and Risk Adjustment programs.
Develop rates, forecasts, pricing models and financial analyses for client engagements.
Design and execute complex data programs, actuarial models and risk score analyses.
Partner with clients to deliver consulting recommendations and business insights.
Provide guidance and mentoring to actuarial analysts on project teams.
Support cross-functional engagements involving ACA, Medicaid, Medicare Advantage and related programs.
