Job summary

Spectrum.Life is seeking a proactive, fully accredited Psychotherapist/Counsellor to deliver EAP services remotely in the UK or Ireland. You will assess needs, conduct risk screening, provide crisis support, and guide clients to resources while maintaining professional standards.

After 3 weeks of paid training, you will work 3x10-hour shifts or 4x10-hour shifts with one weekend day fixed, communicating via phone, SMS, live chat, and WhatsApp within a confidential clinical setting.

Qualifications

• A recognised qualification in Counselling or Psychotherapy.
• Full accreditation with a recognised professional body.
• Experience delivering remote or phone-based counselling.

Responsibilities

• Screen and assess needs of individuals accessing EAP services.
• Carry out risk assessments including suicide/self-harm and safety planning.
• Provide immediate telephone crisis counselling and short-term interventions.
• Identify presenting problems and determine appropriate service response.
• Maintain accurate clinical records across digital case management systems.
