Job summary

Destination Pet LLC is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to manage expenses across the company. You will analyze invoices and expense reports, resolve discrepancies, and assign expenses to the correct accounts. This role involves handling AP for multiple companies and coordinating with a large network of locations.

The position offers remote work in Texas with a weekly in-office check run. Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in business or accounting preferred, not required.
• At least 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable.
• Proficiency with Excel and other accounting software; NetSuite or Coupa is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Check run will be once a week in office, including creating FedEx labels and dropping off special checks.
• Review check requests for proper documentation and approval before payment.
• Manage AP Mailbox on assigned days.
• Reconcile statements; research and correct discrepancies as needed.
• Communicate clearly with over 100 locations and Corporate Staff.
• Review, code and process vendor invoices for multiple companies.
