Job summary

McGarrah Jessee is seeking an early-career accounting professional to support the Controller group with vendor invoicing, onboarding, and record maintenance. You will prepare payment runs, reconcile vendor accounts, and ensure costs are properly authorized and coded.

You will also handle media payables, match invoices to media orders, research discrepancies, and coordinate resolutions with Media teams. Flexible work-from-home options are available.

Qualifications

• 0–2+ years in accounts payable or junior accounting.
• Experience processing invoices and reconciling vendor accounts.
• Advertising/media/production experience preferred.
• Experience with media vendors or media schedules is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet firm deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with vendors and non-finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Onboard new vendors and maintain vendor records.
• Process invoices, capture and code expenses, and route for approval.
• Prepare scheduled payment runs and remit payments.
• Reconcile AP subledger to the general ledger and assist month-end close.
• Support compliance and identify improvements to AP workflows.
