Job summary

Paleovalley and Wild Pastures are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to manage high-volume AP across our multi-entity environment, including vendor bill processing in Acumatica, 3-way matching, and month-end close support.

Based remote in the United States, you will ensure accurate records, timely payments, and strong vendor relationships while upholding internal controls and compliance. Prior experience in manufacturing/CPG environments is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of hands-on, full-cycle accounts payable experience.
• Hands-on experience with Acumatica or similar ERP and AP modules.
• Experience with three-way matching and landed cost allocations.
• Strong reconciliation skills and month-end close knowledge.
• Intermediate Excel abilities (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS).

Responsibilities

• Process vendor bills in Acumatica for multiple entities with proper documentation.
• Perform three-way matching and investigate discrepancies with vendors and Supply Chain.
• Manage AP approval workflows and ensure timely invoice processing.
• Code non-PO invoices to appropriate entities and GL accounts with documentation.
• Allocate landed costs to PO receipts using the defined method.
• Reconcile AP subledger to GL and vendor statements; resolve reconciling items.
• Support month-end close with accruals, aging, and schedules.
• Maintain vendor records, including W-9s and banking info.
• Foster strong vendor/partner relationships and resolve questions promptly.
• Assist with 1099 reporting, tax reviews, audits, and compliance records.
• Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and controls.
