Job summary

JC Davis Ventures LLC dba JC Davis Power is hiring an Accounts Payable Analyst in Texas to manage full-cycle payables, three-way matching, and vendor reconciliations. You will drive accuracy in coding, support month-end close, and build scalable processes for growing spend.

The role requires 3–5 years of AP experience, NetSuite knowledge, and strong Excel skills. It is remote with daytime availability and a focus on internal controls and vendor relations.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of accounts payable experience in a full-cycle, high-volume environment.
• Hands-on experience with PO-based invoicing and three-way match.
• Experience reconciling vendor statements and AP subledger to GL.
• Knowledge of ERP/accounting systems (NetSuite) and adaptability to new tools.
• Strong Excel skills: lookups, pivot tables, large data sets.
• Familiarity with W-9 collection and 1099 reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy; verifies own work.

Responsibilities

• Process high-volume vendor invoices, code to GL accounts, and match to POs/receiving documents.
• Ensure accurate job and cost coding to support profitability and budgets.
• Prepare and run payments (checks, ACH, card) with terms and discounts.
• Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies with vendors.
• Support month-end close with AP accruals and reconciliations.
• Generate aging, cash requirements, and spend reports for leadership.
• Identify bottlenecks and propose automation/workflow improvements.
• Maintain vendor master data and ensure 1099 compliance.
• Assist audits with documentation and internal controls.
