Job summary

Stratoscope in the United States is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join the Finance & Accounting team. You will handle day-to-day accounting across multiple entities, focusing on AP, AR, project billing, cash application, and month-end close with a lean, automated workflow.

The role requires 2–4 years of hands-on accounting, Sage Intacct and SAP Concur experience, strong Excel skills, and a degree in Accounting. Remote work from the U.S.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of hands-on accounting experience, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and billing.
• Hands-on Sage Intacct experience is required.
• Hands-on SAP Concur experience is required.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills and data accuracy are essential.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor and contractor invoices with correct entity, project, department, GL account, and approvals.
• Prepare, review, input, and post customer and project invoices in Sage Intacct.
• Record customer payments and apply to open receivables; perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly close activities and reconciliations for balance sheet and operating accounts.
• Maintain master data and documentation for vendors, customers, and projects.
