Job summary

Exavalu, a US-based consulting firm, is seeking a remote senior accounting professional with at least 5 years of experience in US accounting and strong QuickBooks proficiency. The role includes managing AP/AR, bank reconciliations, monthly financial reports, tax updates, and financial statement preparation for management.

Candidates should have excellent communication skills and experience in US tax rules. Preference given to those with IT services or financial services background.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of QuickBooks.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in US accounting only.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Expertise in filing US accounts.
• Preferred experience from IT services or financial services companies.

Responsibilities

• Experience working with US accounting.
• Calling for timesheets of onsite employees, posting timesheets in QuickBooks and reconciling the same.
• Manage all Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable in QuickBooks.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial reports for management.
• Manage, book and maintain expense details for business independently.
• Ad‑hoc projects and reporting.
• Knowledge of finalization of accounting.
• Update tax changes and coordinate with the team.
• Knowledge of US taxation rules and regulations.
• Prepare financial statements – Profit and loss account and balance sheet.
• Develop monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss.
• Research and update with changes of different taxes of US geographical area.
