YO IT Consulting is seeking a Finance Associate to join remotely, handling core financial ops using QuickBooks and Google Sheets to ensure accurate records and timely reporting.

The role supports accounts payable/receivable, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, and cross-team collaboration for budget adherence and compliance. A 2–3 year background in accounting plus strong communication are required for this contract position in the USA.

• 2–3 years of relevant staff accountant or bookkeeper experience.
• Advanced QuickBooks proficiency for daily bookkeeping.
• Strong Google Sheets skills with formulas and data organization.
• Experience with accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in a fast-paced remote role.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and reconcile A/P and A/R accurately and timely.
• Use QuickBooks for bookkeeping and data entry.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports.
• Maintain financial data in Google Sheets for reporting.
• Support budgeting and financial compliance across teams.
• Assist with ad hoc projects and audits.
• Be available for occasional weekend hours if needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Utilize QuickBooks for bookkeeping, transaction recording, and financial data management.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal review.
• Maintain and optimize financial data within Google Sheets for better reporting and analysis.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support budget adherence and financial compliance.
• Assist with ad hoc financial projects and provide support during audits.
• Remain available for weekend or extended hours as needed to meet business demands.
  
  

Required Skills And Qualifications

• 2-3 years of relevant experience as a Staff Accountant, Accounting Associate, Bookkeeper, or Accountant.
• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks for day-to-day financial management.
• Strong command of Google Sheets, including formulas and data organization.
• Demonstrated experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced remote environment and work independently.
• Must be based in the USA and able to work extended or weekend hours when required.
