Job summary

Vivant, a fast-growing U.S.-based MSP, seeks an Accounting Officer to support billing, AR/AP, and financial reporting for remote, cross-border operations. You will collaborate with U.S.-based clients, vendors, and internal teams while ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

The role requires strong accounting fundamentals, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment with CST-aligned hours. 100% remote, with compensation discussed during offer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• At least 3 years in accounting, billing, AR/AP, or similar roles.
• Strong accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excel proficiency and experience with ERP/accounting systems.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting-related emails and phone inquiries from stakeholders.
• Review projects, tickets, and work orders to ensure accurate client billing.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Review vendor invoices and process accounts payable accurately and on time.
• Prepare journal entries, maintain the general ledger, and perform reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end closing and financial reporting.
