The role supports month-end through year-end closes, inter-company reconciliations, and audit readiness, with travel up to 20% and preference for candidates in Ohio or Florida. Dominant GAAP knowledge, strong analytical and process improvement skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of progressive experience in financial operations and accounting.
• CPA preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger, payroll accounting, and capital assets.
• Manage month-, quarter-, and year-end close processes.
• Reconcile inter-company balances and capital asset subledgers.
• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations per GAAP.
• Support internal controls and audit readiness.
