Job summary

Wishup is seeking an Online Accounting Manager for a fully remote role. You will manage day-to-day accounting tasks and ensure accurate financial records, spanning cash receipts, disbursements, AP/AR, payroll, assets, and inventory.

The ideal candidate has 3–4 years of bookkeeping experience, US GAAP exposure, QuickBooks proficiency, and strong Excel skills with excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of bookkeeping and accounting experience.
• At least 1 year of bookkeeping experience under US GAAP.
• 1+ year QuickBooks experience required.
• Experience in the R2R process.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance or qualified CA/CPA.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with shortcuts and formulas.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day accounting services including cash receipts, disbursements, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, fixed assets, inventory management, and related functions.
• Maintain financial records: post journal entries, general ledgers, trial balance, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
• Perform account reconciliations: bank, credit cards, vendor accounts, and related statements.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures; monitor expenditures and reimbursements.
• Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports; maintain client relationships and ensure high-quality service.
