Job summary

Synthesis Health is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee bookkeeping and accounting transactions. You will report to the VP of Financial Operations but work with the People and Culture team to manage the payroll and state registration processes.

The ideal candidate will have five years of accounting operations experience, be detail-oriented and organized, with IFRS expertise, and will ensure timely financial closes and accurate reporting. This is a 100% remote role for US-based candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field.
• Five years' experience in accounting operations.
• Demonstrated experience managing payroll processing.
• Must have experience with IFRS accounting standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS accounting standards and company policies.
• Reconcile various General Ledger accounts and appropriate sub-ledgers.
• Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare journal entries to general ledger accounts documenting business transactions.
• Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting.
• Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.
• Timely close monthly financials in accordance with the reporting schedule.
