Job summary

Best Practicify is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee daily financial operations, manage the general ledger, and produce key reports including P&L. This role requires attention to detail, strong Excel skills, and experience with cloud accounting software.

The position is remote for US-based candidates with a hybrid global team. You will support finance decision-making, manage month-end closings, and coordinate with other departments to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 8+ years of general ledger accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, Pivot, V-Lookup, X-Lookup).
• Knowledge of cloud accounting software (QB Online, Sage, NetSuite, SAP or ERP).
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and work in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Create and analyze liability, asset, and capital accounts.
• Summarize and prepare financial reports including P&L.
• Post and maintain GL accounts, payroll, AP, AR.
• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, loan accounts, AP and AR.
• Support other departments and coordinate training as needed.
