Job summary

Attivo Partners, a San Francisco-based finance and accounting consulting firm with national reach, seeks an Accounting Manager to oversee multiple clients’ full-cycle close, AR/AP, payroll, and tax compliance. The role emphasizes policy development, budgeting, and financial reporting for early-stage startups.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in accounting, 2+ years in supervision, and strong GAAP knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA a plus.
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in fast-paced technology or professional services environments.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly financial statements and budget vs actual analysis.
• Assist with financial modeling and forecasting for clients.
• Manage Accounts Receivable processes including invoicing and collections.
• Manage Accounts Payable processes including timely payments and policy compliance.
• Process employee onboarding, payroll, and terminations.
• Mentor and train junior team members.
