Job summary

Dragos is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the U.S. government subsidiary's accounting operations, ensuring GAAP-compliant financial reporting and timely close.

You will oversee revenue recognition under ASC 606, timekeeping for government contracts, and coordination with external auditors. Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory or management experience.
• Experience with U.S. government contract accounting and compliance (FAR, DCAA, cost accounting standards).
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and GAAS.
• Experience with revenue recognition under ASC 606, including standalone selling price and performance obligations.
• Experience managing external audits and working with auditors.
• Experience with government timekeeping and labor compliance.
• Proficiency with Unanet, Salesforce, and NetSuite.
• Experience with Navan and Concur preferred.
• Advanced MS Excel skills; proficiency in Word.
• Leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting operations for the U.S. government subsidiary.
• Own the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reporting.
• Manage revenue recognition under ASC 606, including identification of performance obligations.
• Oversee timekeeping and labor distribution in compliance with government contracting requirements.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, GAAS, FAR, and applicable government cost accounting standards.
• Manage external audits and coordinate with auditors in accordance with GAAS.
• Establish and maintain internal controls over financial reporting.
• Manage the general ledger, account reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Support indirect rate calculations and cost pool management if needed.
• Administer and maintain accounting systems (Unanet, NetSuite, Salesforce) and ensure data integrity.
• Support contract setup, billing, and revenue tracking in Unanet and Salesforce.
• Partner with the VP of Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Manage, mentor, and develop accounting staff.
• Lead process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory filing requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and contract information.
• Support special projects as assigned.
