Cambia Health Solutions is offering a twelve-week, full-time Accounting Internship starting May or June 2027. This remote position provides real-world accounting experience within the Financial Accounting Services team, with mentoring and exposure to monthly statements and regulatory reporting.

The program pays $25–$27 per hour and seeks candidates pursuing an Accounting or Business degree with a strong GPA, Excel skills, and analytical, written and verbal communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Accounting or Business with an Accounting emphasis.
• Completion of Intermediate Accounting sequence or equivalent.
• GPA requirement of 3.2 overall; 3.4 in Accounting.
• Strong Excel skills and MS Office knowledge.
• Analytical thinking and sound judgement from analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication; US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations for monthly statements.
• Generate reports for month-end and quarter-end reporting.
• Complete the annual asset review.
• Assist in insurance industry regulatory reporting.
• Support financial examinations and audits.
• Assist with ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
• Contribute to internal control policies and procedures.
