Job summary

Cambia Health Solutions offers a twelve-week full-time accounting internship beginning May or June 2027, with a remote position. The internship pays $25–$27 per hour and provides hands-on experience in the Financial Accounting Services team.

Interns will prepare journal entries, run reconciliations, generate month-end reports, and assist with regulatory reporting and audits. A strong Excel/Office foundation and US work authorization are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years college education, pursuing accounting/finance degree; one year from graduation preferred.
• Completion of the Intermediate Accounting sequence or its equivalent.
• Required minimum overall GPA of 3.2; Accounting GPA 3.4.
• Required intermediate skill level of Microsoft Excel and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to think analytically and make sound judgments from analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• U.S. work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations to support monthly financials and analysis.
• Generate reports for month-end and quarter-end reporting.
• Complete the annual asset review.
• Assist in preparation of insurance industry regulatory reporting.
• Assist with financial examinations and audits; ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed.
• Implement process improvements and contribute to internal controls development.
