Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Management or related field with junior or senior standing.
• GPA of at least 2.5.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Excel.
• Able to commit to 40 hours per week during internship.

Responsibilities

• Use Excel to develop automated processes and minimize manual work.
• Review, analyze, and investigate discrepancies in charges and assist with changes.
• Prepare financial and statistical analyses and manipulate data to identify trends.
• Develop cost accounting and budgeting standards and assist with variance analysis.
• Assist in pricing procedures using costing methodologies and market data.
• Prepare and monitor operating and capital budgets.
• Support budgeting, finance, cost accounting, and reporting teams.
• Apply government program rules and reimbursement information to financial activities.
• Assist with charge reconciliation and revenue cycle projects.
• Track and update reports and assist with administrative duties.
• Contribute to program/process development and respond to internal financial inquiries.
