512Financial is seeking an Accounting Consultant to support clients across industries by maintaining accurate financials, analyzing budgets, and guiding smart decisions. You will work under guidance of a Senior Consultant and gain exposure to diverse accounting functions.

This fully remote role requires residing in one of the permitted states; you’ll collaborate with top-tier professionals and wear multiple hats in a fast-paced, growth-focused firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to perform account reconciliations.
• Strong interpersonal and written/spoken communication skills.
• Experience with ERPs (QBO, Intacct, Sage, NetSuite) is a plus.
• Software accounting experience is a plus.
• Positive attitude and a team player.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize large items.
• Confidence, ambition, self-motivation and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Active listening and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Reconcile bank accounts and ensure financial integrity.
• Forecast short-term cash needs.
• Enter monthly journal entries.
• Support third-party audits and reviews.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and insights.
• Partner with team members and clients to meet deadlines.
