512Financial is seeking an Accounting Consultant to support clients with accurate financials, budgeting analysis, and journal entries. You will work under a Senior Consultant and gain exposure to multiple clients across industries, developing accounting expertise in a fast-paced, high-growth consultancy.

The role is remote with eligibility restricted to specific states, and you’ll collaborate with top-tier financial professionals to deliver client-focused results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills essential.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience performing account reconciliations.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• ERP experience (QBO/Intacct/Sage/NetSuite) is a plus.
• Accounting software experience a plus.
• Positive attitude and team player attitude.
• Ability to multi-task and priorities effectively.
• Self-motivation, confidence, and initiative.
• Active listening and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Reconcile bank accounts and maintain financial integrity.
• Forecast short-term cash needs.
• Enter monthly journal entries.
• Support third‑party audits and reviews.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and insights.
• Collaborate with team members and clients to meet deadlines.
