Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline; or 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
• US citizenship required.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High attention to detail with extreme accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with moderate supervision.

Responsibilities

• Review contract documentation and billing requirements for accuracy and compliance.
• Validate project setup activities to support accurate invoicing.
• Prepare, analyze, and submit customer invoices for various contract types.
• Interpret contract terms and funding documents to support billing.
• Maintain project billing records and supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with Program Teams to resolve billing issues and ensure smooth processing.
• Perform payment reconciliations and support GSA billing activities.
• Provide billing guidance and customer service to internal teams.
• Assist with training and process improvements within the department.
• Support ad hoc projects and other billing duties as needed.
