Job summary

MedBridge is hiring an Accounting Assistant to support the accounting team remotely. You will perform bookkeeping tasks, manage accounts payable and receivable, review invoices, process checks, maintain vendor data, and assist with year-end tax prep and reconciliations. A strong detail orientation and solid Excel/Word skills are required.

This role emphasizes independent work, reliable communication with the Controller and staff, and a flexible schedule within a fully remote environment.

• Bookkeeping using QuickBooks accounting software
• Accounts Payable
• Invoice review and scanning
• Check processing and mailing
• Vendor maintenance

• Prepare deposits
• Payment posting
• Filing and clerical tasks
• Opening, sorting and distributing mail
• Assist with yearly tax preparation and reporting
• Assist in monthly reconciliations
• Maintain communication with Controller and staff
