Oceaneering invites an early-career Accountant I to join a mostly remote finance team. You will support day-to-day accounting and the month-end close, ensuring accurate postings and reliable records in line with what the company expects.

The role offers growth in corporate accounting, exposure to ERP systems like PeopleSoft, Oracle, and SAP, and collaboration across teams to uphold compliance and sound financial controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of one year of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Exposure to ERP systems (PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP) is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and effective written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, post accurate journal entries with complete documentation.
• Reconcile general ledger and balance sheet accounts and resolve items.
• Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities.
• Assist with accounts payable/receivable, intercompany accounting, fixed assets, inventory, treasury, sales tax or cost accounting.
• Analyze financial data and prepare schedules for management review.
