Job summary

CAI is seeking an Accountant to manage end-to-end client billing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and contract compliance. The role requires GAAP knowledge and experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite, plus strong Excel skills.

The position is remote and contract-based, with direct employment through CAI. Candidates should have 3–5+ years of accounting experience in billing, AR, or financial operations and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of accounting experience, including billing/accounts receivable/financial operations.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting experience.
• Experience with SAP/Oracle/NetSuite and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end client billing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and contract compliance.
• Perform billing reconciliation and funding settlements; resolve discrepancies with internal/external stakeholders.
• Monitor accounts receivable activities, invoicing, cash application, and collections follow-up.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to resolve billing issues promptly and professionally.
• Assist in developing new processes and workflows for a growing function.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure GAAP-compliant transactions.
• Prepare and analyze account reconciliations; identify variances and suggest corrective actions.
• Support process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability of accounting operations.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, and client-facing teams to ensure data integrity.
