Job summary

Kalpa Inc. is seeking an Accountant Associate for a remote position (Philippines). The role covers client invoicing, payroll, reconciliations, and journal entries across multiple teams and time zones.

You will handle billing, subcontractor invoices, payroll postings, and bank reconciliations, while ensuring accuracy and timely financial reporting. A strong accounting foundation and ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• 3–5 years of accounting or finance experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with bank reconciliation, journal entries, and payroll accounting is essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting tools (Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar) is expected.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and invoice clients accurately and on schedule.
• Record and process subcontractor invoices and time data for billing.
• Post payroll journal entries and compute employee incentives; log accruals.
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts monthly; prepare GST/HST remittance entries.
• Compute and log journal entries for inter-departmental and intercompany allocations.
