Fechheimer Brothers Co. is seeking an Account Manager to drive revenue growth and retain key accounts across a multi-state territory, primarily Illinois and Indiana.

The role is fully remote and requires frequent travel within the territory; the successful candidate will manage a portfolio, pursue new opportunities, and strengthen dealer relationships. Starting at $85,000 per year plus commission, base salary based on experience.

Qualifications

• Strong consultative selling skills to uncover needs and tailor solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to present to groups and decision-makers.
• Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Salesforce) and basic data analysis for pipeline/forecasting.
• Territory management discipline including calendar planning and travel planning.
• Negotiation skills and business acumen with understanding of pricing and terms.
• Self-starter who thrives in a remote environment and meets commitments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory plans with quarterly targets and pipeline.
• Maintain travel plans and weekly calendars to maximize in-person engagement.
• Identify, qualify, and pursue new opportunities via networking, referrals, and market research.
• Schedule and conduct in-person appointments and product demonstrations.
• Manage a portfolio of accounts with timely follow-up and growth plans.
• Conduct business reviews with customers to assess results and expansion needs.
• Coordinate with dealers/distributors to support sell-through and merchandising.
• Maintain CRM hygiene and create weekly activity reports.
• Negotiate pricing and terms within company guidelines and document in CRM.
• Represent Fechheimer at trade shows and conferences; plan pre/post-show activities.
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends to inform product/go-to-market decisions.
