Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. is seeking an Account Manager for Arizona & Nevada. This remote role focuses on long‑term account growth across FARO Creaform solutions, engaging major customers and coordinating with internal partners to expand opportunities.

The position is home‑office based, preferably in the Phoenix area, with a compensation package including base salary and incentives. The candidate should have 1–5 years of sales experience in manufacturing/tech, a technical degree, and a valid U.S.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical engineering or relevant technical field.
• 1-5 years of experience in sales in a manufacturing/technological environment.
• Strong interest in high technology and learning about technological products.
• Experience in technical field, sales and/or customer support.
• Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license and driving eligibility.
• Ability to lift/move up to 90 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate FARO Creaform technology to customers.
• Participate in trade shows and sales events.
• Follow up on sales opportunities via CRM and communications.
• Identify and communicate customer needs for quotes.
• Provide technical support and regular follow-ups during evaluations.
• Report progress weekly in opportunities-review meetings.
• Develop a large network of contacts within the territory with the team.
• Manage existing customers across the product life cycle and identify opportunities.
• Protect profit margins by adding value and minimizing discounting.
