Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. is seeking an Account Manager to serve as the focal point for major accounts, driving long-term growth across FARO Creaform solutions including hardware, software, and automated systems.

The role is based in a home office around Cincinnati, OH or Columbus, OH, with travel up to 50% and a total compensation range of $130,000–$150,000. The successful candidate will leverage sales expertise and a strong technical background to consult with key customers, coordinate with internal teams,

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in sales in a manufacturing/technological environment.
• Strong interest in technology and learning about technological products.
• Experience in a technical field, sales, and/or customer support.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate FARO Creaform technology to interested customers and potential customers.
• Participate in trade shows, technical events, open-house, and sales meetings to advance opportunities.
• Maintain organized follow-up on sales opportunities via emails and calls using the CRM system.
• Identify customer needs and communicate them for quotes and proposals.
• Provide technical support and regular follow-ups during evaluation periods with clients.
• Report progress and provide forecasts during weekly opportunity reviews.
• Develop a network of contacts within the designated territory in collaboration with the Sales Manager.
• Manage existing customers through the full product life cycle and seek new opportunities.
