Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking an Account Manager for Employee Benefits to support client services, manage a book of business, and lead a team of Account Coordinators. The role combines remote work with possible on-site presence in Longwood, FL to meet business needs, and requires an active license and extensive experience in employee benefits.

You will drive renewals, implement client processes, develop relationships with clients and carriers, and identify sales opportunities

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience.
• Active licensing required.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational, delegation, and decision-making skills.
• High accuracy in handling large work volumes.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Client Management: Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring performance requirements are met.
• Client Service: Deliver outstanding service, anticipate client needs, respond quickly to requests.
• Team Leadership: Lead the account team with a strong work ethic and willingness to assist others.
• Daily Activities: Direct daily activities of Account Coordinators, assign tasks and monitor execution.
• Business Growth: Identify and act on sales opportunities to grow IOA business.
• New Business Setup: Manage new business setup including data gathering, client file creation, and notices.
• Renewal Process: Manage renewals by verifying data, liaising with clients and carriers, obtaining rates.
• Client Relationships: Build and improve client relationships, seek feedback, implement improvements.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies and industry standards.
