Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager – Employee Benefits to manage a book of business with focus on client service, renewals, and team coordination. Remote work with optional on-site attendance in certain situations, supporting Longwood, FL and other IOA branches.

You will lead Account Coordinators, communicate with Producers, and identify sales opportunities while ensuring service levels and compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience.
• Required active licensing.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational, delegation, and decision-making skills.
• High accuracy in handling large work volumes.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring performance requirements are met.
• Deliver outstanding service, anticipate client needs, and respond quickly.
• Lead the account team with a strong work ethic and collaboration.
• Direct daily activities of Account Coordinators and monitor execution.
• Identify and act on sales opportunities to grow IOA business.
• Manage new business setup, data gathering, and client education.
• Oversee renewals, data updates, carrier liaison, and audits.
• Build and improve client relationships and seek feedback.
• Advocate for clients and carriers to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Identify value-added solutions and support team development.
