Job summary

Danfoss is hiring for an Account Manager, Construction. You will drive growth and strengthen relationships with strategic customers in the Construction Segment of the hydraulics industry.

This remote position is open to US candidates, preferably in Ames, Iowa, with travel up to 40% internationally. You will own end-to-end commercial strategy, build plans, and collaborate with global teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience, hydraulics knowledge preferred.
• 2-5 years in technical sales or Account Manager role in hydraulics/off-highway.
• Ability to achieve sales targets in a competitive market.
• Experience in account management, sales, or business development.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Drive profitable growth by expanding share of wallet in customer accounts.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to introduce Danfoss products.
• Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders.
• Cross-sell and up-sell with technical knowledge.
• Collaborate globally with internal teams to deliver solutions.
