Insurance Office of America, Inc. is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines in a remote-capable role open to residents in CA, NV, OR, WA and AZ.

You will manage an assigned book of business, ensuring retention and supporting new opportunities while coordinating day-to-day admin and customer service activities. The ideal candidate holds an active P&C license, has 3+ years in account management (or 5+ years in insurance) and demonstrates strong analytical, customer service and communication

Qualifications

• Active P&C license required.
• 3+ years of account management experience or 5+ years in insurance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Professional designation (CIC or equivalent) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring account retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities.
• Resolve complex issues and ensure no errors or omissions.
• Maintain technical competence and industry expertise.
• Direct daily activities of the account management team.
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Conduct client research, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages and present proposals.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and data accuracy.
