Insurance Office of America (IOA) seeks an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage an assigned book of business, ensuring retention and supporting new business. Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues and ensuring no errors or omissions.

Remote role for candidates in Eastern or Central Time Zones; on-site may be required per policy with dedicated workspace.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Active P&C license; CIC or equivalent designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring account retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues and ensuring accuracy.
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals; conduct client research and present proposals.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and coordinate collections; maintain agency management systems.
• Communicate frequently with the account team regarding workload and issues; uphold IOA values.
